Through GS10F0088U we offer:
- Onsite and Offsite Demilitarization and Destruction of Sensitive Military Equipment (SME) including reduction and/or mutilation of items to a state of complete destruction and/or in accordance with DoD DEMIL Manual 4160.28-M-V1-3; Code D Regulations preventing reassembly, future use for original purpose, or reverse engineering for duplication.
- Processing and reduction of materials (ranging in size from Micro-processors to Jumbo-jets) to pre-determined sizes (and as negotiated at task order level) through torch cutting, shearing and shredding with proprietary procedures and equipment.
- Sortation of materials to predetermined standards of purity and material likeness; level of sortation to be predetermined at task order level.
- Transportation including armed escort of equipment and items to one of our secure facilities for further processing.
- Receiving of DEMIL items at our DoDAAC facilities.
- LLRW and HazMat Handling includes removal and segregation of Petroleum Oils and Lubricants (POL's) as well as materials containing low levels of radioactive materials using LLRW Certified Labor; such items, commonly found in offensive/defensive military equipment, are handled in accordance with DoD 4160.28-M-V1-3 regulations, and in accordance with standards set by, and in, Radiological Affairs Support Office (RASO) and DOD Manual 4715.6-R.
- Development and management of sustainable material recovery programs; through closed-loop recycling alternatives facilities may retain ownership of Class “S” materials for enhanced recovery value.
- Material Value Recovery: With two options available to Ordering Agencies, maximum value can be recovered from processed items; recovered materials can either be:
- Returned to the Government Customer: for resale and/or disposition at the Government’s discretion.
- Purchased by HVF West LLC: Fair Market Value (FMV) based on indices and markets determined at the task order level.
- Returned to the Government Customer: for resale and/or disposition at the Government’s discretion.
